Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed India with 34th episode of Mann ki Baat. In this episode, he promises to keep Independence day speech of less than an hour. As per Narendra Modi, he has got many complaints from last three 15 August speech are bit lengthy. Also, PM has asked the nation to celebrate 71st Independence day with ‘Sankalp Parva’ or ‘Day of Resolve’.
He said “We should celebrate 15th August 2018 as the Sankalp Parva or the Day of Resolve. We have to take a pledge to quit un-cleanliness, poverty, terrorism, casteism, and communalism from India”.

Mr. Narendra Modi explained how August is a month of revolution and remind us this year we are going to celebrate 75th Quit India Movement. In Mann ki Baat he added “The five years from 1942 to 1947 were decisive for country’s Independence, these five years from 2018 to 2022 must play a decisive role for future. Five years from now, we will celebrate 75 years of India’s Independence,”.
